Festival Colline

For fans of emerging music, as well as the big names in Quebec culture, Colline is an open-air festival that favors experiences on a human scale, thanks to a family atmosphere that emphasizes closeness to the community and nature in a slow-living context. The festival takes place during the Perseids, that rain of shooting stars in August, in the heart of the world's first International Dark Sky Reserve, that of Mont Mégantic.

A unique event

Lac-Mégantic is the only French-speaking town in North America to hold international Cittaslow certification. In short, it's a city of good living, built around community relations, responsible choices, culture and more. The Colline festival perfectly reflects this approach; to the delight of artisans and participants alike, it's a festival lived in slow motion! We take the time to appreciate, to savour, in an exceptional environment.

Nature and culture

The vast majority of our activities take place outdoors, in the heart of nature. In the forest, on a farm meadow or on the shores of Lake Megantic, artists and festival-goers meet in unusual places to create unique experiences... with unique people.
